Announcing the New Ping Serene Golf Clubs for Women – Longer Drives – Greater Accuracy

This September Ping is launching a new line of golf clubs just for women.

Have you ever had your golf swing speed checked? If you’ve played at one of those in-door all season driving ranges with the big tv screen, you can set the machine to calculate your swing speed and post your results. As you practice you can watch your improvement. Swing speed is an important element in hitting long drives. An average LPGA professional swings her driver at 96 mph, the PGA pros average around 108. And the top long hitters like Tiger Woods or Bubba Watson swing around the 130 mph mark.  Pretty fast!

In comparison, the average woman golfer swings her driver at 62 mph, and the guys? they swing at about 96. We need all the help we can get to move that ball as far down the fairway as possible! If you’re thinking about buying a new set of golf clubs you might want to check out the new Ping Serene series.

The Ping Serene family of golf clubs is specifically designed for women, using real performance innovation, by optimizing distance and forgiveness for moderate to slow swing-speed players. It’s not just cosmetics. The drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and putters inspire confidence to help you play better golf.

I have a Ping putter that was my Dad’s and it still sounds sweet. Ping makes great clubs. I’m ready for a new set and will definitely look at this new product before I buy. When will they be in the retail stores or pro shops so I can test them first?

The Ping Serene clubs should be in retail stores by mid-September. But you can see them and pre-order online at several golf websites: golfsmith.com, golfdiscount.com are just a couple. You can check with your pro shop and see when they will be getting some in for fitting purposes. Let me know how you do.
