DryJoy Performance: The Perfect Light Jacket For Playing Golf and Staying Dry! – A Quick Review

Bookmark and Share

Recently I was in the market for a lightweight jacket that would keep out both wind and water and still look good. I found everything I was looking for in the DRYJOYS WOMEN’S PERFORMANCE LIGHT JACKET …lightweight, comfortable and combines the feel of a windbreaker with waterproof performance and overall breathability. Tailored especially for women. (Which means it allows for the fact you have a chest!)

I’ve worn this jacket now through a number of rounds of golf and it has performed up to and exceeds my expectations. I did not buy the jacket for warmth, so I do put a couple of layers on if it’s going to be a cool day, but it has kept the wind out and me, perfectly dry. The pockets are deep enough to carry balls and tees and the arms have enough give to not cause any binding when you swing.

If there is anything to complain about it would be the styling. The jacket performs perfectly, but it is not the most stylish of jackets. It’s a bit boxy, but has to be to be able to fit over sweaters and vests. Still, it does the job and I’m satisfied.

The jacket retails for $175.00 but I was able to purchase mine online at Golfsmith for significantly less. Read about that lucky purchase here.

I give this jacket 4 red tees.
