Best Places to Golf in St. George   St. George is the golf capital in the state of Utah. Even during the winter, St. George weather is quite mild. This makes it possible to enjoy the outdoor sport all year long. As a result of this, the city of St. George is known for having some of the best golf courses in the Southwest US.

The city’s golf courses are all so unique. They feature black lava rock and red canyon walls. Many provide gorgeous views of the famous red rick desert. Some even offer exceptional views extending as far as Zion National Park.

The Ledges Golf Club   This world-class golf club was ranked #5 on the Golf Digest list of best new public golf courses whose green fees or at least $75. Golf.com ranked it #6 on its list of Utah’s best public golf courses.

Players at The Ledges Golf Club admire the breathtaking views provided by the natural beauty of the surrounding sandstone mountains. You have the option of playing a 9-hole or 18-hole round of golf at The Ledges. Many have compared its facilities to those of prestigious private clubs, often rivaling and even exceeding them. Your experience at The Ledges begins right in the parking lot. That’s where a friendly staff member will meet and greet you with a golf cart to unload your clubs from the car and deliver you directly to The Ledges Clubhouse.

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club   Golf Digest ranked Entrada at Snow Canyon of St. George the #7 top golf venue in the entire state of Utah. On the other hand, Golf.com ranked it #1 on their list of Utah’s best golf courses.

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is a private, gated retirement community filled with fine St. George homes. The community’s focal point is an 18-hole golf course by Johnny Miller Signature Design. Coral Canyon Golf Course   Coral Canyon Golf Course was ranked #2 on the Golf.com list of the state of Utah’s best public golf courses.

This gorgeous course if located in what’s known as St. George’s “Color Country.” It features a 7,029-yard par-72 layout designed by golf course architect, Keith Foster. The splendor and beauty found at Coral Canyon gives players the opportunities to enjoy luxurious rounds among world-famous natural wonders. You’ll find breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of Bryce Canyon in the wintertime. And, during springtime months, you’ll be amazed at the spectacular greens and blooms of the nearby Zion National Park.

St. George Golf Club   This course is a long-time favorites for locals and St. George visitors. It comes with a traditional-feel. However, golfers describe it as having a very unique character about it. St. George Golf Club is also considered an amazing walking course, which adds a bit more of a workout to your game. Its large greens, par 3 challenges and open-course layout is great for fulfilling any golf mix.
