Each year the “Get Away Gurls” from my Tee Club organize a golf vacation trip to someplace in the warm south. Sixteen women of varying degrees of golfing ability join together for a five day adventure. Over the last nine years we have stayed at some great resorts, among them Pinehurst, Orlando and this year, Amelia Island Plantation, just outside of Jacksonville, Florida.
