Having the correct grip in golf is of prime importance if you want your game to improve. A good grip will give you a good swing; a bad grip will give you a bad swing.
And it’s important to not grip the club with a “death-grip” which only sends tension through your hands, up your arms and across your shoulders. Tension is the absolutely enemy when it comes to golf.
Hold the club with enough pressure to keep it in place and loose enough to let it swing freely. It’s not easy to achieve, and believe me I struggle with the tension issue.
