Where Can A Plus-Sized Woman Find Great Golf Fashions?

Are you a fashionista when it comes to dressing for the golf course? Do your golf shoes match your visor? Your skort coordinate with your top? Do you spend a lot of time choosing which belt or socks go with which golf glove? I have to admit, much as I like looking good out there on the links, I am more focused on my swing tempo than getting my plaids to coordinate with the blue of my golf bag.

Perhaps it is because when it comes to choosing the right golf duds for my game, there isn’t a lot from which to choose. I am one of those golf women who is more likely to buy from the plus rack than the misses.

But I like to think of myself as a woman of “substance” rather than a contestant for the TV show “Biggest Loser.” And I discover I am not alone. Recently I received a lengthy comment from one of our readers asking if I would focus a post on the issue of plus size clothing for the plus sized woman golfer. Happy to do so.

The commenter added a few links to some websites that might be appropriate and I’ve done some additional research. If you are an abundant woman, looking for some new golf fashions for your next round, I recommend you check out a few of these links.

PinksandGreens.com not only has plus-sized options but also has also been working with manufacturers to expand their options for larger ladies.

Another new site, http://www.birdie-tree.com, also specializes in plus-sized apparel.
