Play the World’s Longest Golf Course: Nullarbor Links, Australia
Stretching 850 miles across the states of Ceduna in the south, to Kalgoorlie in the west, this 18 hole par 72 golf course took over five years to build. The designers estimate it will take approximately 4 days to play the course, depending on how quickly you want to play. Here’s the lo-down from the Nullarbor Links website:
The Nullarbor Links concept is unique. The 18-hole par 72 golf course spans 1,365 kilometers with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia. Each hole includes a green and tee and somewhat rugged outback-style natural terrain fairway. The course provides a quintessential Australian experience and a much-needed activity/attraction for travelers along the renowned desolate highway.
Nullarbor Links promises to give golfers of every stripe one heck of a ride! If you are heading down under, don’t miss it! And let us know how you did.
