There were hundreds of golf fashion booths to visit at the recent PGA Merchandise show — people to talk to and golf clothes to admire and desire and I’ll be featuring many in upcoming posts, but decided to start with this one: WearToWin.

The company out of Mishawaka Indiana, is run by two young women with high ambitions and fashion smarts. WearToWin’s tag line reads: Play Fiercely, Live Beautifully, and this year’s line of golf clothing, the Big City Collection, promises to meet that goal. I met with the Vice President, Laura Ormson who enthusiastically showed me this year’s line.

All the clothes are designed by women, for women and are made in the U.S.A. The style is bold, with bright colors, diamond weave textures, metallic fabrics, sexy side slits and shimmery bright zippers: understated but elegant and easily able to transition from work to the golf course. Many of the pieces are designed to layer so it is easy to mix, match, add or subtract.
