What Do Rush Limbaugh, Golf, And My Game Have In Common?

Trust me, there is very little Rush Limbaugh and I have in common. He swings right, and I am more often on the left side of any fairway! (Metaphorically speaking.) But today, while surfing the net, I came across a series of short videos from the GolfChannel that were really very instructive.

The Haney Project was produced as a series of golf instructional videos starring the legendary teacher Hank Haney and his eager, and very hard-headed golf student, Rush Limbaugh. What a combo! And although I am not a fan of Rush in any sense of the word, I was really impressed by his determination to get better on the golf course and to realize that some of the issues he struggles with are the very blocks to a better golf game that I struggle with.

  • Confidence in my game
  • Course management
  • Learning to focus
  • Swing tempo
  • etc. etc. etc.

The best part of the video series is the teaching of Hank Haney. He is patient and very simple in his instruction and it was easy for me to listen to his ideas and translate them for my own game. I think you might benefit as well.

I’m listing a couple of the episodes and their links below and encourage you to watch each to see what I mean. And forget about Rush. It’s Hank Haney you should really listen to. He’s got a lot of great information that will surely help your game if you put his ideas and drills into practice.

There are a total of 8 episodes… and Rush does get a lot better by the end of the program. He actually gets to really enjoy the game, and that’s what’s it all about, right?

What do you think?
