I played with a Chromax metallic golf ball today and loved the fact that it was so easy to find. We could even see it shining up as us from the water. Too bad I didn’t have a ball retriever with me. It had a softer feel that I usually play with and wasn’t so sure if my putting. On the last hole my friend had been using the the new Distance Chromax ball. I tried that on the green and liked it better. I would like to try the distance ball next time I play to decide which one plays better for me. Then I will most likely order some.

I have played with Chromax balls and while I love the colors, I found them difficult to see in the morning dew if I should happen to hit in the rough.

Early morning with the sun sending long dark shadows and dew on the grass makes for a lot of sparkle! I agree with you – but under those conditions it’s hard to find any ball! Even the white ones. But sitting on a pile of leaves or under a bush… the chromax does stand out 🙂
