Every day people are injured on the golf course.
No, I’m not talking about getting hit by a ball, or getting zapped by lightening. The most common injuries that occur on the golf course are torn ligaments, sprained backs and muscle spasms that just won’t quit. And every one of them is preventable. Golf is supposed to be enjoyable, but if you are one of those people who gets to the course just moments before your tee time and give your body absolutely no warning that it is about to take on eighteen holes of golf, you are just asking for trouble.
Kathy Ekdahl, the fitness guru from PersonalBestPersonalTraining.com has teamed up with GolfGurls to create a great video on pre-game stretches. It only takes a few minutes to loosen up and prepare yourself for a great round of golf—especially if you just jumped out of bed or have been sitting all day at a computer.
Watch this video and put it into practice. Your body and your golf game will thank you.
