The #1 Secret to Avoid Golf Injuries

I love to play golf and I hope to be able to play the game far into the future. As long as I am healthy, I plan on staying in the game. But there is one thing – one secret, that is no secret at all – that will help guarantee my health and ability to stay on the links.

Without this #1 fundamental secret, there is a good chance I will actually be forced to stop playing golf. What is it? Stretching.

Warming up before each round with a short series of stretching exercises allows my body to recognize it is about to go from a place of inaction to action.

Muscles that have been resting comfortably, are about to be called on to perform some pretty strenuous actions. You have to give them some warning. Stretching “wakes up” muscles and properly eases your body into action and gets you ready for a great round of golf.
